Data Portability Speech for /ch/open

The fine folks from /ch/open - a Swiss association to promote the use of open systems - invited me to talk about data portability and digital identity - with focus on existing and emerging open web standards.

To explain use cases and the need of open data on the web I used the public transport sector. It is well known that Switzerland is one of the best equipped country concerning public transport. However talking about integration of the timetable and services data into the web landscape we are average at best.

The speech was done in German - the slides notes (text below the slide) are in English.
