HTML 4 Forms - Next step please!
Building sophisticated web applications using HTML 4 forms isn't real fun - and it looks like we have to stick with them for the time being.
At least on the definition part - things are rolling on - W3C host a workshop to gather possible future solutions.
Worth reading:

Down to earth assumptions and practical approach - hope we are going to see some of that stuff in future browsers.
